POLICIES, TERMS & CONDITIONS
At Studio Millan, our goal is for every client to leave feeling confident, refreshed, and completely satisfied with their experience.
If you are not satisfied with your service, we appreciate the opportunity to make it right. We are happy to provide a complimentary adjustment within forty-eight (48) hours of your original appointment based on the original consultation.
Service adjustment requests must be submitted within forty-eight (48) hours of the original appointment. Refund requests, if approved at Studio Millan’s sole discretion, are considered final and may conclude the professional service relationship with Studio Millan.↑ Top
2. CUSTOMER SERVICE
You, as a valued customer of Studio Millan, are extremely important to us. Our goal is to provide a professional, relaxing, and enjoyable experience for every guest.
If you have any questions, concerns, or special requests, please do not hesitate to contact us. We are always happy to assist.
3. BOOKING APPOINTMENTS APPROVAL & ARRIVAL
Please verify that your appointment has been officially approved through a confirmation email. Without confirmation approval, service is not guaranteed.
Please arrive on time and no earlier than your scheduled appointment. If arriving early, we kindly ask that you wait outside or in your vehicle until your appointment time.
For your convenience, online booking is available to help secure your preferred appointment time. All online appointments are subject to administrative approval and are confirmed only after you receive a confirmation email from Studio Millan.
Please do not rebook online if you have not received confirmation within two (2) business hours during normal operating hours. We recommend checking your spam or junk folder before contacting us for verbal confirmation.
Appointments requested overnight for next-morning availability may remain pending until reviewed.
To prevent scheduling conflicts, Studio Millan reserves the right to adjust appointment times by up to +/- 15 minutes when necessary.
Studio Millan encourages clients to bring inspiration photos, hairstyle references, or style ideas to help communicate expectations during consultation.
4. APPOINTMENT CONFIRMATIONS & REMINDERS
As a courtesy, Studio Millan sends appointment reminder emails approximately seventy-two (72) hours and twenty-four (24) hours prior to your appointment.
However, clients are ultimately responsible for remembering their appointment dates and times to avoid late arrivals, missed appointments, cancellations, and applicable no-show fees.
Please provide the best phone number and email address for communication when booking online.
5. SAFETY & STUDIO POLICIES
For the comfort, safety, and well-being of all guests and staff, we kindly ask that clients reschedule their appointment if experiencing fever, cough, flu-like symptoms, or illness.
Hand sanitizer is available and encouraged upon entering, exiting, or after contact with commonly touched surfaces.
Our Studio is professionally maintained, cleaned, and disinfected regularly to ensure a safe and sanitary environment.

6. GUEST POLICY, CHILDREN POLICY, PETS POLICY
Due to limited seating and waiting area capacity, we kindly ask clients to refrain from bringing guests unless necessary. We sincerely appreciate your cooperation and understanding.
To maintain a relaxing, safe, and professional environment, and for insurance purposes, we kindly ask that children remain at home unless they are receiving a scheduled service appointment.
Studio Millan is pet-friendly; however, for the comfort, safety, and sanitation of all guests and staff, pets are not permitted inside the Studio unless otherwise approved.
7. LATE POLICY
Due to the high demand for appointments and to respect all clients’ reserved time, Studio Millan maintains a strict ten (10) minute late policy.
Appointments may be canceled after ten (10) minutes past the scheduled appointment time if the client has failed to notify the Studio.
If a late appointment can still be accommodated, service availability will remain at the discretion of Studio Millan and may require full payment depending on scheduling limitations.
We understand that unforeseen situations occur; however, clients may be required to reschedule their appointment through our booking system.
Appointment times are reserved exclusively for each guest, and late arrivals may impact scheduling availability for other clients.
8. CANCELLATION, SAME-DAY CANCELLATION & NO-SHOW POLICY
We understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise. However, we respectfully ask clients to value appointment times, as Studio Millan reserves time specifically for every guest and works to provide fair scheduling opportunities for all.
Appointments canceled within twenty-four (24) hours of the scheduled appointment time, canceled on the same business day, or missed without notice may be treated as a No-Show.
Same-day cancellations are considered non-refundable and deposits will be forfeited.
Failure to appear for a scheduled appointment without notice may result in cancellation of future booking privileges at Studio Millan’s discretion.
9. APPOINTMENT DEPOSITS
All Studio services require a NON-REFUNDABLE deposit to reserve an appointment. Deposits secure time reserved exclusively for you and help avoid scheduling disruptions.
Deposits are applied toward the scheduled service and are non-refundable under all circumstances unless otherwise required by law.
To avoid losing your deposit, please review the following:
- If your appointment was scheduled within the previous twenty-four (24) hours and you need to modify the appointment date or time, please contact Studio Millan by phone at (818) 748-3455 during business hours.
- Text messages, voicemail, emails, or social media messages are not accepted for appointment modifications or same-day changes. Appointment changes must be approved verbally.
- Same-day calls requesting schedule changes cannot be guaranteed and may not qualify for deposit transfer or accommodation.
- Deposits may not automatically transfer if rescheduling is done without following Studio Millan procedures.
- Studio Millan is not responsible for duplicate deposits made through repeated booking attempts. Please contact us first before submitting multiple reservations.
- Same-day appointments without official approval should not be assumed confirmed. If a deposit is completed and no response has been received, clients must contact the Studio during business hours before arriving.
- Appointment spaces remain temporarily held during online checkout. If payment is not completed, the system may automatically release the appointment slot after approximately fifteen (15) minutes.
Please verify appointment confirmation details, including service, date, and appointment time before arrival.

10. PRICING & SERVICE MODIFICATIONS
All prices are subject to change without notice and are not guaranteed.
Pricing is based on service time, hair length, complexity, and product usage required to complete services.
Pricing for haircut services may vary depending on initial hair length, complexity, service time required, and appointment time reserved.
Additional time, product use, or service modifications may result in pricing adjustments.
If you have questions regarding pricing, we strongly encourage discussing pricing expectations with your stylist before service begins.
11. PAYMENT & PROCESSING FEE POLICY
Payment is due at the completion of services.
For your convenience, Studio Millan accepts major credit cards including Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and cash payments.
A 3.5% card processing fee applies to card transactions.
A valid government-issued photo identification may be requested when paying by card.
12. GRATUITY
Gratuity is not included in Studio Millan service pricing.
While entirely at your discretion, customary gratuity ranges between 15%–20%.
To avoid card processing charges, clients are encouraged to leave gratuities in cash when preferred.
13. GIFT CARDS & GIFT CERTIFICATES
Gift cards and gift certificates are available for purchase in Studio and online for amounts of $25 or more.
Gift cards do not include gratuity, are non-refundable, non-redeemable for cash, and expire one (1) year from purchase date.
14. PRIVACY POLICY
This Privacy Policy governs how Studio Millan Barber & Hairstylist collects, secures, stores, and uses information gathered through www.studiomillan.com.
To facilitate appointment scheduling, customer communication, and website functionality, Studio Millan collects only information voluntarily provided through booking forms, contact forms, website interactions, and customer communications.
THE SITE MAY COLLECT
- Your name, phone number, and email address.
- Information voluntarily submitted through appointment scheduling, consultation requests, or contact forms.
- Website usage information through browser cookies intended to improve functionality, customer experience, and website performance.
Internet cookies may be declined, restricted, or removed through your browser settings if preferred.
USE OF PERSONAL INFORMATION
Personal information collected by Studio Millan may be used for:
- Appointment scheduling, confirmations, reminders, and customer communication.
- Service updates, promotions, future offerings, special events, or business notifications.
- Customer feedback, service improvements, and quality assurance.

ACCESS, CORRECTION & REMOVAL OF DATA
Upon written request by mail, phone, or email, Studio Millan may provide a summary of retained customer information associated with the client account on file.
Customers may request corrections, updates, modifications, restrictions, or removal of personal information from Studio Millan databases, subject to applicable legal or business record retention requirements.
For privacy and account protection purposes, records will only be released to the email address associated with the customer account on file.
RIGHT TO CONTACT CLIENTS
Studio Millan reserves the right to contact customers regarding appointment matters, policy updates, privacy matters, service agreements, promotions, scheduling concerns, product availability, or any matters relevant to services provided.
RETENTION OF INFORMATION
Studio Millan may retain customer information for business operations, appointment history, legal compliance, customer service, internal recordkeeping, and future communications related to Studio services unless removal is requested where legally permitted.

15. RETURNS & EXCHANGES
Due to hygiene, safety, and product integrity standards, Studio Millan does not accept returns or exchanges on opened, used, tampered with, damaged, altered, or improperly stored grooming products.
To qualify for a return or exchange, products must remain unopened, unused, in original condition, and in their original packaging.
If an item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, customers must notify Studio Millan within twenty-four (24) hours of delivery and provide clear photographs of the item, packaging, and any visible damage.
Approved return or exchange requests must be submitted within five (5) calendar days of delivery.
Shipping costs are non-refundable unless the error resulted directly from Studio Millan.
Studio Millan reserves the right to deny any return or exchange request that does not meet these requirements.
By completing a purchase through our website or Studio Millan services, customers acknowledge and agree to these terms.

16. RIGHT TO MODIFY PRIVACY POLICY
Studio Millan reserves the right to revise, modify, update, replace, or discontinue this Privacy Policy at any time without prior notice. Continued use of Studio Millan services or website access constitutes acceptance of any updates or modifications.
17. RIGHT TO REFUSE OR DISCONTINUE SERVICE
Studio Millan reserves the right to refuse or discontinue service at its sole discretion in order to maintain a respectful, safe, sanitary, professional, and non-disruptive environment.
