City of Los Angeles Guidelines for Re-Opening
for Barbershops and Hair Salons
- Physical distancing measures will be in place.
- Employees and customers will be screened for symptoms, including cough and fever. Clients feeling unwell should reschedule their appointment.
- Everyone, including clients, must wear cloth face coverings while in the salon or barber shop and clients are encouraged to wear face coverings with earloops to ensure the face covering does not interfere with the hair service.
- Magazines, coffee and other amenities will not be available.
- If electronic or card payment is not possible, customers should come with exact cash payment or check, if available.
- Stylists may only serve one client at a time.
In addition to the above, here are the practices I will put in place to ensure our mutual safety and health
- If you are not wearing a face covering, I will refuse service to you. Sorry for the inconvenience. (Studio Millan won’t provide it) no exceptions.
- I apologize sincerely, and as you can imagine I cannot diagnose an allergy symptom from a COVID symptom. I shall always strive to keep both you and I safe. I will refuse service if you show any symptoms.
- You can have absolute confidence that our mutual safety and hygiene is essential and that I have always protected us and always will continue to do so.
- PLEASE KNOW that I do have ample outside waiting space to allow for your comfort and safety and to enjoy the spring weather!
- New appointments will be done online or by phone (818) 748-3455.
- SMS text messages are not allowed. (818) 650-1390 is no longer in service.
- All online appointment requests are set pending Admin approval.
- Your appointment time request may need to be adjusted (+/-15 minutes max) to avoid conflicting appointments. Please examine your confirmation email carefully.
- If you DO NOT RECEIVE your email confirmation within 1 hour during business hours, please check your email spam folder. overnight appointments requested for next early morning, might be not approved.
- Please do not re-book if you DO NOT RECEIVE your email confirmation.
